Run the Brighton Marathon for Us in a Bus

The Brighton Marathon takes place in April each year and is one of the UK’s favourite 26.2-milers. With a stunning backdrop of the sea in one of the country’s most vibrant cities, the race gets bigger and better every year. Renowned for its buzzing atmosphere and roaring crowd support, the course winds through the city streets, finishing up on the spectacular Brighton seafront. The Brighton Marathon Weekend was founded by former international athlete Tim Hutchings and by former Brighton club athlete, Tom Naylor. The event is organised by the Grounded Events Company ltd. The first running of the race took place on 18th April 2010. Unique to the Brighton Marathon is the Beach Village. Brighton Marathon Weekend is the first event to ever stage repatriation and celebration directly on the beach at the finish of the race(s). This is a fantastic stretch of beach boasting a charity village (where Us in a Bus, along with other charities, greet their runners after their run), live screens, food, drink, entertainment and, of course, deckchairs! The wonderful people who run and raise money for Us in a Bus deserve our most heartfelt thanks and encouragement; 26.2 miles is no mean feat and all our runners train incredibly hard to mentally and physically prepare to cross the finish line.
