Please support us in 2020 as we undertake a Fundraising Challenge of a Lifetime!

To mark our 30th year we have put a team together to walk the National Three Peaks on 12th  and 13th September, raising money as a team rather than as individuals. The National Three Peaks challenge starts at Ben Nevis, then its straight on to Scafell Pike and finally, Snowdon; this will be a tough, but rewarding, experience covering 26 miles, full of unforgettable views as we ascend around 3000 metres.

We are using a professional company (RAW Adventures), who have vast experience and who will issue our team with suggested training plans and kit lists.

The team are now starting to raise money for this epic challenge and have set up a team Just Giving page to make it easy for people to give us their much valued sponsorship.  If you would like to support the team you can access their Just Giving page through this link:  https://www.justgiving.com/team/UIAB.

If anyone is interested in putting their name forward for a reserve team we would love to hear from you.  Register your interest [here]. If we get enough interest for a reserve team the cost will be £420 per person, which includes guides, drivers, vehicles, dinner, bed and breakfast. We must stress, however, that this challenge is only suitable for those in good physical condition – a rigorous training schedule and full recommended kit is essential for a safe and enjoyable experience.

We are very excited about this challenge and we hope that you can join us to help make this unforgettable weekend a huge fundraising success!

There are so many ways to raise funds to support our work, and we are here to support you however we can

Our amazing supporters have undertaken a wide range of fabulous fundraising challenges; running, performing, climbing, baking, and even fire walking! However you choose to fundraise for us, you will be making a world of difference.

And if running is your thing, then how about #RunningForTheBus?

In addition to individual fundraisers, community groups have been a huge support since our charity began. If your group is looking for a worthwhile cause to support and/or you have a shop or club counter where we can house a collection tin, we would love to hear from you!
