We were delighted to welcome Lindsay Mitchell from The Worshipful Company of Grocers to North Block this month to see the work that their £5,000 grant will be supporting.  Lindsay met Victoria to observe a local Interactive Session at a Care Home in Redhill where the team support 3 residents with profound learning disabilities.

Returning to the office they talked about the history of both Us in a Bus and The Worshipful Company of Grocers, our beginnings at 4 long stay Institutions in Surrey and the meaning of Philanthropy today.

Victoria said “we are very grateful to The Worshipful Company of Grocers for their generous donation to enable us to provide our unique service, which really makes a difference to people who find communication challenging.  I was delighted to welcome Lindsay so she could see the importance of their donation.”
