Steve has worked for Us in a Bus since 2001 after spending several years working in a residential setting for adults with a learning disability. He had always been drawn to the area of communication and its central role in supporting people’s sociability.
Steve is passionate that everyone has the fundamental right to be heard and to have as many opportunities as possible to engage with others. In his role as Service Delivery Manager he is responsible for developing and delivering Interactive Sessions and Coaching & Mentoring Projects to ensure this happens. Steve is responsible for managing our team of Interaction Practitioners alongside Anne Laney, specifically The Bus Stop Project, and he also has a responsibility for Health and Safety within the organisation.
Outside of work Steve enjoys walking and exploring the outdoors with his family, the occasional cycle trip and listening to music.
