Lockdown is making us all explore ways of staying in touch with the people who are important to us. How many of us had never Zoomed this time last year? Finding ways of strengthening connections seems more important now than ever – and this must be particularly true when we think of some of the people we support who struggle with communication at the best of times.
If you want to explore how Intensive Interaction can help to make connections deeper and more meaningful, for you and the people you support, join Janet Gurney at the next on-line workshop which she’ll be facilitating on 17th February 2021.
The online workshop is priced at £50 per person and £25 for parents/family carers. There are also 2 free bursary places which may be available. To apply for one of these please email firstname.lastname@example.org.To book your place please complete the booking form which can be found [here] and email it to email@example.com. You will then be sent course notes and handouts plus the all important log-in details for the Zoom workshop.
Read some of the feedback from recent participants:
” It was a thought-provoking and very insightful day! I can’t wait to go back and start developing our approach to Intensive Interaction! “
” I found the training really insightful and a perfect balance between theory and related practical application. We have a team WhatsApp group and, following the training, it was buzzing with compliments and with ideas – so thank you. One of my team commented that this was just what was needed right now – a reminder of why we do what we do. “
” We will certainly be using this as a basis for further team training and reflection – thank you so much. “
