Become a Dementia Friend

published 8 Dec 2016 by Us in a Bus in General News category with 0 comments

A Dementia Friend learns a little bit more about what it’s like to live with dementia and then turns that understanding into action – anyone of any age can be a Dementia Friend.

Dementia Friends is about learning more about dementia and the small ways you can help. From telling friends about Dementia Friends to visiting someone you know living with dementia, every action counts.  You can read more about Dementia Friends here.

We’re really pleased to be hosting a 1 hour Information Session being delivered by  Alzheimer’s Society and have places available.  You will learn more about dementia and how you can help to create dementia friendly communities. Our session is running on Tuesday 20th December here at our offices on Redhill Aerodrome from 11am.

If you would like to attend email renee.canter@usinabus.org.uk or call 01737 764774
