We are starting this year’s International Intensive Interaction week, with wonderful news…
We are very excited to announce that Adam Pearson, award-winning campaigner, actor and presenter has agreed to become a Patron of Us in a Bus.
“As soon as I heard about the work of Us in a Bus, I was keen to contribute to the charitable mission of this small but important organisation.”
Adam was nominated as UK Documentary Presenter of the Year at the 2016 Grierson Awards, and has won both a RADAR Award and a Diana Award for his campaigning work.
Adam is a reporter on Tricks Of The Restaurant Trade (Channel 4) and has fronted the critically-acclaimed documentaries; Horizon: My Amazing Twin (BBC Two), Adam Pearson: Freak Show (BBC Three) and The Ugly Face Of Disability Hate Crime (BBC Three). Adam also appeared in the BAFTA-nominated film, Under The Skin.
Chief Executive Victoria Goody expressed her happiness at the news “We’re so pleased to welcome Adam to the Us in a Bus team, and look forward to introducing him to Intensive Interaction. We’re delighted to have such a high profile campaigner for disability rights and awareness working with us.”
